Mr Chau
After careful review of the problems detected and mentioned in the discussion document, we report below some comments and suggestions for the organizational improvement as a whole:
1 – Quality problems: we suggest the reduction of suppliers for each product, a long-term relationship, based on loyalty and trust so that the supply is made as conditions previously established.
Regarding relationship with supplier, the situation like this requires minimal conditions that the company must attend to establish a collaborative and lasting relationship. Requires that the supplier is qualified, it means, to present a level of organization that attends the established condition and can guaranteethis service.
After this development phase comes the assessment phase of the supplier called qualification.
A certified supplier is one that has demonstrated to be an organization that attends the requirements, and being assessed by audit, they can demonstrate capacity treatment with the client.
1) Treatment complaints made by a certified supplier are better than a non-certified.
2) Quality of products produced by the certified supplier is better
3) Treatment Quality is better in the certified supplier
4) The use of ISO 9000 as a marketing tool
The fact of existence of a quality management system implemented based on accepted international rules gives customers greater confidence.
5) Competitive advantage.
2)- Responding to customer´s needs: a system should be planned to attend our customer´s needs
- The personnel involved should be trained and qualified
- The segmentation of services should be given according to customer requirement services and required information technology utilization
- There must be consistent demand forecast and the perception of their behavior
- Necessary adoption of performance indicators that will ensure that the goal is reached
3) Design: the market is in constant mutation, so the proposals for designers are:
- Improved language courses, traveling conferences before each exchange of new collections, we suggest training as example topics: the importance of creative thinking and of intuition, forming a team of collaborators who want to collaborate, what changes in the market and how to monitor changes, learning to listen to the customers, qualification of the differences, ethics, professional behavior, etc..
Examine the market, the desires and expectations of people and their purchasing power, the strengths and weaknesses, resources and ability of the company. Then proceed to identify among those skills that match with wishes and needs of the market. Even after an initial planning is done, it´s necessary to maintain a precise control over all the ways to make corrections.
